The Summer Nights Earrings
Summer nights wearing a pretty sun-dress, matched with these elegant and funky boulder opal earrings.
They are designed to hang quite low. For statement earrings, they really aren’t too heavy (in my personal opinion).
These are solid Boulder Opals from Winton, QLD and have a purple glow.
Length from top of earring hook to bottom of earring: 8cm
Width: 2.5cm
Opal face: 1cm x 0.8cm.
All Mahkato Silver pieces are handmade with genuine .925 Sterling Silver, slowly crafted in Kate’s Sunshine Coast studio, and feature unique hand stamped designs. All stones used are Australian, and cut/polished by local lapidary artists. The Mahkato Silver makers mark stamp is visible on the inside of ring bands, and on the backs of earrings, pendants / other pieces. Kate likes to give the rings an oxidised (patina) finish. If you would prefer to have less Patina visible, please just send a request - it is easy to lessen this effect.
*OPALS
Mahkato Silver only uses SOLID opals. The true colour of your opal ring may vary slightly to the photograph. The colour of opals varies greatly with light and shadow. It’s also important to note that they’re a naturally occurring material and might include natural ‘imperfections’.
