Kate's Christmas Raffle - Boulder Opal Split Pair (custom earrings OR pendant + ring)
Welcome to the Mahkato Silver Christmas Raffle!
Here is your chance to win a custom set of split opal earrings, made by me, valued at $3250 AUD!! As the winner, you can choose to have these as a set of earrings OR a pendant + ring set. This prize includes EXPRESS postage with signature. Courier delivery like DHL can be arranged for this but will be at the winners expense (estimated $180 AUD). The pair are 20mm long (2cm). The completion date for the custom piece/s is late January, 2024.
This pair are an opal split pair, meaning that an opal vein in a boulder opal has been split into two pieces - each piece, giving a mirror image of the other. Opal split pairs with character like these are not easy to come by, and they are highly sought after and high value. This delicious pair are from Winton, QLD.
This raffle will see this awesome pair go to one lucky winner, and also give back to my community, and the animals I cherish so much!
There will be ONLY 125 tickets available - and all profits over $3375 AUD will be evenly split between 2 wildlife rescue centres here on the Sunshine Coast (if all tickets sell, there will be $1000 generated to evenly split & donate to the organisations below).

Both these organisations do a tremendous job at caring for our wildlife. Twinnies are an amazing sister duo who care for birds, while Eumundi cares for our native wildlife like possums, birds and koalas to name a few.

The raffle will be drawn as soon as all the tickets have been sold, or by CHRISTMAS EVE (24th December) 5PM AEST, whichever comes first!. Any tickets not sold will be deleted from the raffle.
The raffle will be drawn out of a hat. All numbers will be in a paper version, drawn live on my instagram. The winner will be notified by email & instagram (if I have your instagram handle).
The Winner:
The winner will be able to have the advertised stones made into a pair of earrings or a pendant + ring set. The winner can select to haven them made in one of MY STYLES ONLY (I don’t take requests to copy other people’s work), or simply bezel set. The prize includes the use of .925 Sterling Silver only - however if gold accents would like to be added, this can be added at an additional cost at the winners’ expense. Please note I have not done any gold bezel work, so this is not an option - gold accents and embellishments only. If you decide you would like the pendant + ring option, you can choose your size and ring band.
If the winner does not reply to messages within 1 week - there will be a re-draw.
NOTE: *** Mahkato Silver does not aim to make any additional profits from this raffle, except for the earring price of $3,250 AUD + $125 for transaction fees & shipping expenses ($3,375). Any excess profits over $3,375, as mentioned, will be DONATED to charity and receipts to be shown on social media. If all tickets are sold, $1,000 will be split evenly between the 2 organisations.
Terms & Conditions:
The prize cannot be redeemed for cash or a voucher. The stones cannot be claimed just as stones - this raffle is for a finished pair of earrings OR a ring + pendant, made by Mahkato Silver. Refunds will not be given to customers who disagree with this, who have purchased tickets. Refunds are not given for non-winning tickets. In the event the winner disagrees, there will be a redraw and the prize will go to the second choice.
Postage for the finished earrings is included in the prize, and postage is available worldwide - except Russia due to current regulations.
