The Confidence Shadow Box Necklace (approx $1298 USD)
This epic purple boulder opal from Winton, QLD has been set in a high shine shadow box. It is attached to a super heavy duty solid sterling silver chain.
The pendant component is approximately 3.5cm x 2.5cm, and the chain measures 45cm (17.7 inches) long. The chain is not adjustable and the pendant cannot be removed from the chain. The clasp on the chain is large, and super durable. This piece weighs 108 grams - she’s heavy!!
*Mahkato Silver did not make this chain (I could never make one this good!!).
All Mahkato Silver pieces are handmade with genuine .925 Sterling Silver, slowly crafted in Kate’s Sunshine Coast studio, and feature unique hand stamped designs. All stones used are Australian, and cut/polished by local lapidary artists. The Mahkato Silver makers mark stamp is visible on the inside of ring bands, and on the backs of earrings, pendants / other pieces.
*OPALS
Mahkato Silver only uses SOLID opals. The true colour of your opal ring may vary slightly to the photograph. The colour of opals varies greatly with light and shadow. It’s also important to note that they’re a naturally occurring material and might include natural ‘imperfections’.
IMPORTANT: Opal jewellery should be treated with care when worn. It is important to note that they are a natural material and can be subject to cracking if they are knocked against something hard, or dropped.
