This beautiful boulder opal appears darker in colour, until it hits the sun and turns a shade of green and purple. It reminds me a lot of a summer storm with lightning lighting up the sky.
This unique boulder opal is from Quilpie, QLD.
It has a hand stamped band that is 8mm wide (thick bands are super comfy!). The ring face measures approximately 0.6cm x 1.5cm.
Size = US 8.25 / UK P 1/2
Ring bands that are over 7mm wide fit about half a size tighter.
All Mahkato Silver pieces are handmade with genuine .925 Sterling Silver, slowly crafted in Kate’s Sunshine Coast studio, and feature unique hand stamped designs. All stones used are Australian, and cut/polished by local lapidary artists. The Mahkato Silver makers mark stamp is visible on the inside of ring bands, and on the backs of earrings, pendants / other pieces. Kate likes to give the rings an oxidised (patina) finish. If you would prefer to have less Patina visible, please just send a request - it is easy to lessen this effect.
