This opal is so interesting! It has a super beautiful all over blue tone, with a magical sparkle and glitter at the tail end.
This beautiful boulder opal is solid, and comes from the Quilpie region of QLD.
It has a hand stamped double band that is 8mm wide (thick bands are super comfy!). The ring face measures approximately 2cm x 06.cm.
Size = US 8.5-8.75 / UK Q 1/2
Ring bands that are over 7mm wide fit about half a size tighter.
All Mahkato Silver pieces are handmade with genuine .925 Sterling Silver, slowly crafted in Kate’s Sunshine Coast studio, and feature unique hand stamped designs. All stones used are Australian, and cut/polished by local lapidary artists. The Mahkato Silver makers mark stamp is visible on the inside of ring bands, and on the backs of earrings, pendants / other pieces. Kate likes to give the rings an oxidised (patina) finish. If you would prefer to have less Patina visible, please just send a request - it is easy to lessen this effect.
