Boulder opal is authentically Australian - opal is my birthstone (October), it’s from my home state Queensland, AND they look like the water I’ve grown up by - it’s only fair to make this beautiful split opal pair the centrepiece earrings for this collection.
This pair are an opal split pair, meaning that an opal vein in a boulder opal has been split into two pieces - each piece, giving a mirror image of the other. Opal split pairs with character like these are not easy to come by! These earrings also feature 9 carat rose gold accents (middle row of accent lines).They are designed to hang quite low. For statement earrings, these are actually pleasantly lightweight because of the long earring hook that distributes the weight. If you are an opal fan like me - these are a must have for your collection!
