Something about terracotta coloured opals really connects me with nature. There is an opal layer above the ironstone that catches the sun rays and shines the most vibrant shades of green and purple. Truly unique!
This beautiful boulder opal opal is solid, and comes from Winton, QLD.
It has a hand beaten band that is 4mm wide. The ring face measures approximately 1cm x 0.6cm.
Size = US 7 / UK N
Ring bands that are over 7mm wide fit about half a size tighter.
All Mahkato Silver pieces are handmade with genuine .925 Sterling Silver, slowly crafted in Kate’s Sunshine Coast studio, and feature unique hand stamped designs. All stones used are Australian, and cut/polished by local lapidary artists. The Mahkato Silver makers mark stamp is visible on the inside of ring bands, and on the backs of earrings, pendants / other pieces. Kate likes to give the rings an oxidised (patina) finish. If you would prefer to have less Patina visible, please just send a request - it is easy to lessen this effect.

Mahkato Silver only uses SOLID opals. The true colour of your opal ring may vary slightly to the photograph. The colour of opals varies greatly with light and shadow. It’s also important to note that they’re a naturally occurring material and might include natural ‘imperfections’.
