The Outer Space Ring Sz 7.25

This is one of the most interesting opals I have had the pleasure of working with so far. It has sparkly waves and an interesting depth to it. Colours like these are quite sought after in opals at present. The bottom left has an indented mark of an air pocket that has formed millions of years ago during the opals process. It is not a crack, and no structural integrity is compromised.

This unique Boulder Opal is from Quilpie, QLD.
It has a hand stamped quad band that is 12mm wide (thick bands are super comfy!). The ring face measures approximately 3cm x 1cm.
Size = US 7.25 / UK N 1/2
Ring bands that are over 7mm wide fit about half a size tighter. Definitely allow half size bigger for this band style.
All Mahkato Silver pieces are handmade with genuine .925 Sterling Silver, slowly crafted in Kate’s Sunshine Coast studio, and feature unique hand stamped designs. All stones used are Australian, and cut/polished by local lapidary artists. The Mahkato Silver makers mark stamp is visible on the inside of ring bands, and on the backs of earrings, pendants / other pieces. Kate likes to give the rings an oxidised (patina) finish. If you would prefer to have less Patina visible, please just send a request - it is easy to lessen this effect.

Mahkato Silver only uses SOLID opals. The true colour of your opal ring may vary slightly to the photograph. The colour of opals varies greatly with light and shadow. It’s also important to note that they’re a naturally occurring material and might include natural ‘imperfections’.
