One of the most interesting opals I have worked with so far, this wood boulder opal will be one to cherish for a lifetime! Buying spectacular opals and being able to create jewellery keeps my outlook positive - it is what keeps me sane!

This unique Wood Boulder Opal is from the Koroit region in QLD.

This cuff is 14cm long (5.5 inches), with a 3cm (1.2 inch) gap. It is categorised as small-medium at this length. It is moderately adjustable, and also designed to fit better on the forearm.

The metal on the cuff is 8mm thick, and features a signature Mahkato hand stamped band.

All Mahkato Silver pieces are handmade with genuine .925 Sterling Silver, slowly crafted in Kate’s Sunshine Coast studio, and feature unique hand stamped designs. All stones used are Australian, and cut/polished by local lapidary artists. The Mahkato Silver makers mark stamp is visible on the inside of ring bands, and on the backs of earrings, pendants / other pieces. Kate likes to give the rings an oxidised (patina) finish. If you would prefer to have less Patina visible, please just send a request - it is easy to lessen this effect.

*OPALS

Mahkato Silver only uses SOLID opals. The true colour of your opal ring may vary slightly to the photograph. The colour of opals varies greatly with light and shadow. It’s also important to note that they’re a naturally occurring material and might include natural ‘imperfections’.
