The Savannah Way Pendant (approx $330 USD)
The Savannah Way is a 3700km stretch of road in Australia that spans from Broome in WA, to Cairns in QLD. A couple years ago we drove the Northern Territory & Queensland section. Miles of terracotta dirt with crystal blue dry-season skies. This batch of opals remind me of this special time.
This is a solid Boulder Opal from Quilpie, QLD.
Length from top of bail to bottom of pendant: 2.3cm
Width: 0.8cm
Opal face: 1.5cm x 0.8cm
Bail width (for chain threading): 0.4cm
All Mahkato Silver pieces are handmade with genuine .925 Sterling Silver, slowly crafted in Kate’s Sunshine Coast studio, and feature unique hand stamped designs. All stones used are Australian, and cut/polished by local lapidary artists. The Mahkato Silver makers mark stamp is visible on the inside of ring bands, and on the backs of earrings, pendants / other pieces.
*OPALS
Mahkato Silver only uses SOLID opals. The true colour of your opal ring may vary slightly to the photograph. The colour of opals varies greatly with light and shadow. It’s also important to note that they’re a naturally occurring material and might include natural ‘imperfections’.
