Pink Opal Ring Sz 7.75

$425.00

Pink ‘opal’ is a prospectors name applied to a different variety of Mookaite that outcrops as a persistent bed of extremely bright pink opalised radiolarite near the Gascoyne region of Western Australia. Up until 20211, the only other known source of this stone was Peru - so it is super cool to have some Australian material brought to you in this piece. The colour is best described as a musky, dusty pink.

The ring features a hand beaten and stamped, tapered band that is 1.5cm at its widest. The ring face measures 3cm x 1cm.

Size: US 7.75 / UK O 1/2

Please note: Ring bands that are over 7mm wide generally fit a half size smaller than the listed size.

All Mahkato Silver pieces are handmade with genuine .925 Sterling Silver, slowly crafted in Kate’s Sunshine Coast studio, and feature unique hand stamped designs. All stones used are Australian, and cut/polished by local lapidary artists. The Mahkato Silver makers mark stamp is visible on the inside of ring bands, and on the backs of earrings, pendants / other pieces.
